Calm, confidential care for women’s health at every stage, with time to talk and a plan that fits your life.
From routine checks to complex concerns, women’s health deserves more than a rushed appointment. As your private GP, I offer unhurried, discreet consultations to explore symptoms properly, coordinate investigations and support you over time, not just at a single visit.
A women’s health appointment gives you protected time to discuss physical, hormonal and emotional concerns in one place. We look at how everything fits together rather than treating each symptom in isolation.
Where needed, you may wish to book an executive female health screen where we can arrange blood tests, imaging and specialist referrals through trusted partners, so nothing important is missed.
Appointments are deliberately unhurried, with space to explore sensitive topics and ask questions without feeling rushed.
Hormones, mood, sleep, family history and lifestyle are considered together, so your plan reflects the whole picture, not just one test result.
You see the same GP over time, in a calm, private setting, with follow‑up and referrals coordinated for you.
You or your assistant contact my team, outline your main concerns and choose a convenient time at home, in clinic or online.
We discuss your symptoms, history and priorities in depth, and carry out any appropriate examination or bedside tests. There is time to talk about options and preferences.
You leave with a clear plan, which may include investigations, lifestyle measures, medication and, where needed, referrals to trusted gynaecologists or other specialists. Follow‑up is arranged so you are not left managing things alone.
Many women’s health issues can be assessed and managed safely in a private GP setting, including menstrual concerns, perimenopause and menopause, recurrent infections, contraception and initial fertility discussions. Certain situations are best handled directly by hospital or emergency services – for example, severe abdominal pain and heavy bleeding. If your symptoms suggest urgent risk, you will always be advised to seek emergency care.
You can book a stand‑alone women’s health appointment if you need a detailed review of specific concerns, a second opinion, or guidance on next steps.
Women’s health reviews are often part of ongoing Medic Privé membership, with priority access, integrated investigations and follow‑up alongside your wider GP care. Exact entitlements are outlined on the membership comparison page.
You are free to discuss any health concerns in your appointment, as several issues may overlap. However, as this is a dedicated female health consultation, it may be more productive to focus on these issues so we can get the best out of your appointment, allowing us to provide focused intervention.
Whilst doctor does not personally undertake smear tests, these can be arranged at a convenient time for you by a trusted (female) practitioner should you wish.
Should you wish to have a physical breast examination, this can be done during the appt. Referrals for breast ultrasound or mammogram can be arranged via trusted partners and scanning centres.
Yes, the majority of pregnancy care, including preconception fertility advice, is provided by Dr Hussain. As the pregnancy progresses and/or when more detailed tests are needed, referrals will be made to trusted obstetricians or midwives.
If something has been worrying you, whether it is your cycle, hormones, fertility, menopause or a more complex issue, you are welcome to arrange a confidential consultation. The aim is to understand what is happening and agree a clear, manageable plan.
