When you prefer to come to me, a clinic appointment gives you quiet, focused time to talk things through properly, arrange any tests you need and leave with a clear plan.
If you’re looking for a private GP in Hertfordshire and London, I offer face‑to‑face consultations from my base in Elstree, with access to bedside tests such as bloods and urinalysis to explore your concerns in detail.
Whether you’re managing a long‑term condition, feeling run down or simply want clearer control of your health, your private doctor consultation is unhurried and focused on what matters most to you. We combine a thorough assessment with practical, tailored advice so you leave with a clear plan.
I see a limited number of patients, which means your clinic appointment is never rushed. We sit down in a calm, private room, talk through what is worrying you and agree what needs to happen next, including any tests or referrals. You can book a private GP appointment online or contact the practice to arrange a time that suits you.
After an initial discussion, I can combine careful examination with focused tests and follow‑up, rather than a quick “one issue” consultation.
Patients choose private GP appointments for unhurried, highly personal care that fits around their schedule, with direct access to a trusted doctor who knows their history and treats them with discretion and consistency.
There is time to talk through several related concerns properly, without feeling watched by the clock or limited to a single symptom.
Being seen in clinic often makes it easier to arrange blood tests and other investigations promptly, and to decide together what is genuinely necessary.
Some patients prefer to discuss sensitive issues, or be examined, in a setting outside the family home or workplace; the clinic offers that quiet, neutral space.
Whether this is a one‑off consultation or part of ongoing membership, the process is straightforward and handled discreetly.
You or your assistant contact my team to outline the main reason for the appointment and preferred times; urgent red‑flag symptoms are always directed to emergency services.
You attend at the agreed clinic location, we review your history and current concerns, carry out any necessary examination and agree what, if any, tests or referrals are appropriate.
You receive a clear plan, with prescriptions, referrals or investigations arranged where needed, and follow‑up either in clinic, at home, or online depending on what suits you best.
You are welcome to book a stand‑alone consultation when you need a detailed review or second opinion; where appropriate, I can also support you with arranging tests and onward referrals
Private GP appointments usually sit alongside in‑home and virtual consultations, with priority access, structured follow‑up and, in higher tiers, a defined number of included or discounted visits each year.
If it’s your first time, we will allow up to one hour to get to know you and make sure we fully understand all your past medical history. Subsequent appointments can be either 20, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on need and your personal preference.
Charges vary between £250 to £140 pounds, depending on time allocated. All members in Enhanced and Elite tiers have unlimited clinic appointments (subject to fair usage). Those in Essential tier receive a 10% discount, whilst those in the Exploratory tier will pay the appropriate price for the time allocated.
Absolutely! Doctor Hussain is keen to make access as convenient as possible, and should you wish to bring another relative with you to have their own appointment, this is perfectly feasible. Please note that they will be classed as a second patient and have their own appointment, which, if chargable, will have its own cost associated with it.
